My experience with Nutrisystem after 2 months on the program is similar to yours. I lost 7 lbs the first week. And steadily averaging 1 lb per week, totaling a loss of 10 lbs for the first month. I travel a lot and have a very stressful lifestyle, as I am self employed in the apartment rental business. I have learned that my portions have been way to much for my body frame of 5’3”. I am an emotional eater, so when I get stressed over money, I eat. I found Costco has 100 certificate for 80, with a savings of 60/month. I do the diabetic D plan because I read an article that the D plan had the most evidence based results in a clinical study. I have cheated many times after the first month because my job calls me away from home at the drop of a dime, which causes me stress. So my second month I lost and gained the same 4 lbs. so I’m now going into my 3rd month, still downs 10 lbs, from the start. I also find eating the smart carbs and fruit prevent me from losing weight, so I only eat the power-fuels, since my job is mostly sedentary, sitting behind a computer screen. What do you do to mantain your weight loss now that you are not on Nutrisystem?

Des says: Get $200 OFF Nutrisystem Preview I want to start by saying I’m 26, 5 ft 4in and weighed 140 lbs at the start of January this year. Now to a lot of people that might sound like I don’t need to lose any weight, but I feel fat and I just don’t look good in tight fitting clothes. I want to go out with my friends and dress to kill like they do, but I feel too self conscious, so I decided to start a diet and I chose Nutrisystem. I thought if I could lose an inch off my waist and 5 lbs in a week like they say, who knows how great I could look in a month, right? Well I was skeptical at first and when the package arrived and I started going through what was in there, I thought I made a big mistake. No way could I eat that stuff, it looked awful! But I already paid for it and they said I could get my money back if it didn’t work so I started the plan. The first few days were not as bad as I thought they would be. Food was better on the plate than it looked in the packets, but the meals were so small! I took advise and drank lots of water and added grocery items so I wouldn’t feel hungry and I just kept with it. I weighed in after 7 days and nearly fell off the scales. 134lbs. No way! I got out my tape and yeah, my waist was just over an inch smaller! No way!! I kept going even though there were some meals I didn’t like at all. I ate them anyway cause I was too shocked to quit. Well, the next 3 weeks my weight only dropped another 4 lbs and I ended the month at 131. I was worried I wasn’t going to lose any more, but when I spoke to a nice lady in support, she told me it was normal to slow down after a fast start and if I wanted to go another month I could expect another 4-8 lbs loss, so I ordered a second month. I figured even another 4 lbs would be great because I was already looking good in tighter clothes like my friends. I’m 2 weeks in and sure enough only lost another 2lbs so far. I don’t want to put anyone off doing this because its working for me, just slower than the ads make out. But second time around I ordered the select program that cost more but the meals are tons better. They’re frozen meals I think they come from Schwanns but it was worth the extra cost to at least sort of enjoy the food more than the packet stuff. I exercise six times a week, taking a weekend day off and do a combination of cardio & strength. I also have a standing desk now so I cut down on a lot of the sitting that I have working from home. I combine all that with keeping my portion sizes down, not much more than what I was eating while on the program. If I can keep snack-y type foods out of the house I can usually do fairly well.
